FriendDetect System (VRChat Unity 2022)

The FriendDetect system allows you and your friend to see each other through walls to find each other! (Others will see it too)

It sends a parameter to both avatars allowing you to toggle animations when you are both in the same world, regardless of distance!

This item includes a unitypackage containing the system as well as a video tutorial explaining how to install it.

Requirements

You will need the following tools to install this asset :

• Poiyomi Toon Shader V9.0.57 or newer : https://github.com/poiyomi/PoiyomiToonShader/releases
• Avatars 3.0 Manager (Available in the VCC) or at : https://github.com/VRLabs/Avatars-3.0-Manager/releases

• This asset is NOT quest compatible, it's PC-Only.
• You need a basic knowledge of unity to be able to properly set up this asset. (know what write defaults is etc)
• By purchasing this asset you agree to not redistribute this asset as part or whole. (You can still use it on stream/short films/skits or any other creative expressions. Just don't share the files.) (This does not account for commissions/requests to merge this asset with other peoples avatars. In this case both people need their copy)
• Avatars with this asset can't be public.
• People who've bought an avatar with this asset CAN'T reuse it for themselves. (They can't grab this asset from your avatar and reuse it, they have to buy their own license for that)
• Don't claim this asset as part or whole as your own. Credit me. You can edit this asset to what you want, all rules still apply no matter how much you edit.
• Support for both write defaults on, or off!

Important

Since you require 2 copies of this asset for it to work and this is a digital file, it is allowed to only pay for it ONCE and share it with ONE friend.
